(KJV) Philippians 3¹

⥃Righteousness through Faith in Christ ^{[ Romans 3:21–31 ]}

[1] Finally², my brethren, rejoice³ in the Lord. To write⁴ the same things to you, to me indeed [is] not grievous, but for you [it is] safe. [2] Beware of dogs⁵, beware of evil⁶ workers, beware of the⁷ concision. [3] For we⁸ are the circumcision, which worship⁹ God in the spirit, and rejoice¹⁰ in Christ Jesus, and have¹¹ no confidence in the flesh. [4] Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:¹² [5] Circumcised¹³ the eighth day, of the stock¹⁴ of Israel, [of] the tribe¹⁵ of Benjamin, an¹⁶ Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee¹⁷; [6] Concerning zeal¹⁸, persecuting¹⁹ the church; touching²⁰ the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. [7] But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.²¹ [8] Yea doubtless²², and I count²³ all things [but] loss for the excellency²⁴ of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my²⁵ Lord: for whom²⁶ I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung²⁷, that I may win²⁸ Christ, [9] And be²⁹ found in³⁰ him, not³¹ having mine own righteousness, which is of the³² law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness³³ which is of God by faith: [10] That I³⁴ may know him, and the power³⁵ of his resurrection, and the fellowship³⁶ of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [11] If by³⁷ any means I might attain³⁸ unto the resurrection of the dead.

⥃Pressing on toward the Goal

[12] Not as though I had³⁹ already attained, either were already perfect⁴⁰: but I follow⁴¹ after, if that I⁴² may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended⁴³ of Christ Jesus. [13] Brethren, I count⁴⁴ not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one⁴⁵ thing [I do], forgetting⁴⁶ those things which are behind, and reaching⁴⁷ forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press⁴⁸ toward the mark for the prize of the high⁴⁹ calling of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let us therefore, as⁵⁰ many as be perfect, be thus⁵¹ minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God⁵² shall reveal even this unto you. [16] Nevertheless, whereto⁵³ we have already attained, let us walk⁵⁴ by the same rule, let us mind⁵⁵ the same thing.

⥃Citizenship in Heaven

[17] Brethren, be⁵⁶ followers together of me, and mark⁵⁷ them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. [18] (For many⁵⁸ walk, of whom I have⁵⁹ told you often, and now tell you even⁶⁰ weeping, [that they are] the enemies⁶¹ of the cross of Christ: [19] Whose end⁶² [is] destruction, whose God⁶³ [is their] belly, and [who⁶⁴se] glory⁶⁵ [is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.) [20] For our⁶⁶ conversation⁶⁷ is in heaven; from⁶⁸ whence also we look⁶⁹ for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall⁷⁰ change our vile body, that⁷¹ it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working⁷² whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
