⥃Paul’s Greeting to the Ephesians ^{[ Acts 19:8–12 † Revelation 2:1–7 ]}

[1] Paul, an² apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints³ which⁴ are at Ephesus, and to the faithful⁵ in Christ Jesus: [2] Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.⁶

⥃Spiritual Blessings ^{[ Romans 8:28–34 ]}

[3] Blessed⁷ [be] the God⁸ and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who⁹ hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly¹⁰ [places¹¹] in Christ¹²: [4] According as¹³ he hath chosen us in him before¹⁴ the foundation of the world, that¹⁵ we should be holy and without¹⁶ blame before him in love¹⁷: [5] Having predestinated¹⁸ us unto¹⁹ the adoption of children by²⁰ Jesus Christ to himself, according²¹ to the good pleasure of his will, [6] To the praise²² of the²³ glory of his grace, wherein²⁴ he hath made us accepted in the beloved. [7] In whom²⁵ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness²⁶ of sins, according to²⁷ the riches of his grace; [8] Whe²⁸rein²⁹ he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; [9] Having made³⁰ known unto us the mystery of his will, according³¹ to his good pleasure which he hath purposed³² in himself: [10] That in the³³³⁴ dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven³⁵, and which are on earth; [even] in him: [11] In whom also we³⁶ have obtained an inheritance, being³⁷ predestinated according³⁸ to the purpose³⁹ of him who worketh all things after the counsel⁴⁰ of his own will: [12] That we should be⁴¹ to the praise of his glory, who⁴² first trusted⁴³ in Christ. [13] In whom ye also⁴⁴ [trusted], after that ye heard⁴⁵ the word⁴⁶ of truth, the gospel⁴⁷ of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were⁴⁸ sealed with that holy⁴⁹ Spirit of promise, [14] Which is the earnest⁵⁰ of our inheritance until the redemption⁵¹ of the purchased possession, unto⁵² the praise of his glory.

⥃Spiritual Wisdom ^{[ 1 Corinthians 2:6–16 ]}

[15] Wherefore I also, after⁵³ I heard of your faith⁵⁴ in the Lord Jesus, and love⁵⁵ unto all the saints, [16] Cease⁵⁶ not to give thanks for you, making⁵⁷ mention of you in my prayers; [17] That the God⁵⁸ of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father⁵⁹ of glory, may give unto you the spirit⁶⁰ of wisdom and revelation⁶¹ in the knowledge⁶² of him: [18] The eyes⁶³ of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is⁶⁴ the hope of his calling⁶⁵, and what the riches⁶⁶ of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, [19] And what [is] the exceeding⁶⁷ greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty⁶⁸ power, [20] Which he wrought⁶⁹ in Christ, when⁷⁰ he raised him from the dead, and set⁷¹ [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly⁷² [places], [21] Far above⁷³ all principality⁷⁴, and power, and might, and dominion, and every⁷⁵ name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that⁷⁶ which is to come: [22] And hath put⁷⁷ all [things] under his feet, and gave⁷⁸ him [to be] the head over all [things] to the⁷⁹ church, [23] Which is his⁸⁰ body, the fulness⁸¹ of him that filleth all in all.
