(KJV) Ephesians 3¹

⥃The Mystery of the Gospel

[1] For thi²s cause I Paul, the³ prisoner of Jesus Christ for⁴ you Gentiles, [2] If ye⁵ have heard of the dispensation⁶ of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: [3] How that by⁷ revelation he made known unto me the mystery⁸; (as I⁹ wrote afore¹⁰ in few words, [4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may¹¹ understand my knowledge in the mystery¹² of Christ) [5] Which in other¹³ ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it¹⁴ is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by¹⁵ the Spirit; [6] That the Gentiles¹⁶ should be fellowheirs, and of the same¹⁷ body, and partakers¹⁸ of his promise in Christ by the gospel: [7] Whereof I¹⁹ was made a minister, according²⁰ to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by²¹ the effectual working of his power. [8] Unto me, who am²² less than the least of all saints, i²³s this²⁴ grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable²⁵ riches of Christ; [9] And to²⁶ make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship²⁷ of the mystery, which from the beginning²⁸ of the world hath been hid²⁹ in God, who created³⁰ all things by Jesus Christ: [10] To the intent³¹ that now unto the prin³²cipalities³³ and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold³⁴ wisdom of God, [11] According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:³⁵ [12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.³⁶ [13] Wherefore I desire that ye³⁷ faint not at³⁸ my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

⥃Paul’s Prayer for the Ephesians

[14] For thi³⁹s cause I bow my knees unto the Father⁴⁰ of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] Of whom the whole⁴¹ family in heaven and earth is⁴² named, [16] That he would grant you, according⁴³ to the riches of his glory, to be⁴⁴ strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner⁴⁵ man; [17] That Christ⁴⁶ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being⁴⁷ rooted and grounded⁴⁸ in love, [18] May be able⁴⁹ to comprehend with⁵⁰ all saints what⁵¹ [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [19] And to know⁵² the love of Christ, which passeth⁵³ knowledge, that ye⁵⁴ might be filled with all the fulness of God. [20] Now unto him that is able⁵⁵ to do exceeding⁵⁶ abundantly above all that we ask or think, according⁵⁷ to the power that worketh in us, [21] Unto him [be⁵⁸] glory in the church by⁵⁹ Christ Jesus throughout⁶⁰ all ages, world without end.
