⥃Rejoice in the Lord

[1] Therefore², my brethren dearly beloved and³ longed for, my joy⁴ and crown, so⁵ stand fast in the Lord, [my] dearly beloved. [2] I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that⁶ they be of the same mind in the Lord. [3] And I⁷ intreat thee also, true⁸ yokefellow, help⁹ those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose¹⁰ names [are] in the book of life. [4] Rejoice¹¹ in the Lord alway¹²: [and] again¹³ I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your¹⁴ moderation be known unto all men. The¹⁵ Lord [is] at hand. [6] Be careful¹⁶ for nothin¹⁷g; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving¹⁸ let your requests be made known¹⁹ unto God. [7] And the peace²⁰ of God, which passeth²¹ all understanding, shall²² keep your hearts and minds through²³ Christ Jesus. [8] Finally²⁴, brethren, whatsoever²⁵ things are true²⁶, whatsoever things [are] honest²⁷, whatsoever things [are] just²⁸, whatsoever things [are] pure²⁹, whatsoever things [are] lovely³⁰, whatsoever things [are] of³¹ good report; if [there be] any virtue³², and if [there be] any praise³³, think³⁴ on these things. [9] Those things, which³⁵ ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do³⁶: and the God³⁷ of peace shall be with³⁸ you.

[10] But I³⁹ rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your⁴⁰ care of me hath flourished⁴¹ again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked⁴² opportunity. [11] Not that I speak in respect⁴³ of want: for I have⁴⁴ learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content. [12] I know both how to be⁴⁵ abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am⁴⁶ instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. [13] I can⁴⁷ do all things through⁴⁸ Christ which strengtheneth me. [14] Notwithstanding ye have⁴⁹ well done, that ye did⁵⁰ communicate with my affliction. [15] Now ye Philippians know also, that i⁵¹n the⁵² beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. [16] For even in⁵³ Thessalonica ye sent once⁵⁴ and again unto my necessity. [17] Not because⁵⁵ I desire a gift: but I desire fruit⁵⁶ that may abound to⁵⁷ your account. [18] But I have all⁵⁸, and abound⁵⁹: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus⁶⁰ the things [which were sent] from you, an⁶¹ odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable⁶², wellpleasing to God. [19] But my God⁶³ shall supply⁶⁴ all your need according⁶⁵ to his riches in glory⁶⁶ by Christ Jesus. [20] Now unto⁶⁷ God and our Father [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen⁶⁸.
