⥃A Thankful Heart

[A Psalm] of David.

[1] I will praise2 thee with my whole3 heart: before4 the gods5 will I sing praise unto thee. [2] I will worship toward6 thy holy temple, and praise7 thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast8 magnified thy word above all thy name. [3] In the day9 when I cried thou answeredst me, [and] strengthenedst10 me [with] strength in my soul. [4] All the kings11 of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear12 the words of thy mouth. [5] Yea, they shall13 sing in the ways of the Lord: for great14 [is] the glory of the Lord. [6] Though15 the Lord [be] high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud16 he knoweth afar off17. [7] Though I walk18 in the midst of trouble, thou wilt19 revive me: thou shalt stretch20 forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right21 hand shall save me. [8] The Lord will perfect22 [that which] concerneth me: thy mercy23, O Lord, [endureth] for ever: forsake24 not the works of thine own hands.
