⥃One in Christ ^{[ Ephesians 2:11–18 ]}

[1] If [there be] therefore any consolation² in Christ, if any comfort³ of love, if any fellowship⁴ of the Spirit, if any bowels⁵ and mercies, [2] Fulfil⁶ ye my joy, that⁷ ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord⁸, of one mind. [3] [Let] nothing⁹ [be done] through strife or vainglory; but¹⁰ in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. [4] Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.¹¹

⥃The Mind of Christ ^{[ Isaiah 52:13–15 ]}

[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:¹² [6] Who, bein¹³g in the form of God, thought¹⁴ it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made¹⁵ himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form¹⁶ of a servant, and was made in the¹⁷ likeness¹⁸ of men: [8] And bein¹⁹g found in fashion as a man, he²⁰ humbled himself, and became²¹ obedient unto death, even the death²² of the cross. [9] Wherefore God²³ also hath highly exalted him, and given²⁴ him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every²⁵ knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under²⁶ the earth; [11] And [that] every²⁷ tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord²⁸, to the²⁹ glory of God the Father.

⥃Lights in the World ^{[ Matthew 5:13–16 ]}

[12] Wherefore, my beloved³⁰, as ye³¹ have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work³² out your own³³ salvation with³⁴ fear and trembling. [13] For it is God³⁵ which worketh in you both to will³⁶ and to do of [his] good³⁷ pleasure. [14] Do all things without³⁸ murmurings and disputings³⁹: [15] That ye may be blameless⁴⁰ and⁴¹ harmless⁴², the sons⁴³ of God, without rebuke⁴⁴, in the midst of a crooked⁴⁵ and perverse nation, among whom ye shine⁴⁶ as lights in the world; [16] Holding⁴⁷ forth the word⁴⁸ of life; that I may⁴⁹ rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have⁵⁰ not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. [17] Yea, and if⁵¹ I be offered⁵² upon the sacrifice⁵³ and service of your faith, I joy⁵⁴, and rejoice with you all. [18] For the same cause also do⁵⁵ ye joy, and rejoice with me.

⥃Timothy and Epaphroditus ^{[ 1 Corinthians 16:10–12 ]}

[19] But⁵⁶ I trust in the Lord Jesus to send⁵⁷ Timotheus shortly unto you, that I⁵⁸ also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. [20] For I have⁵⁹ no man likeminded⁶⁰, who will naturally care for your state. [21] For all⁶¹ seek the⁶²ir own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s. [22] But ye⁶³ know the proof of him, that, as⁶⁴ a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel. [23] Him therefore I hope to send presently, so⁶⁵ soon as I shall see how it will go with me. [24] But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.⁶⁶ [25] Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus⁶⁷, my brother⁶⁸, and companion⁶⁹ in labour, and fellowsoldier⁷⁰, but⁷¹ your messenger, and he⁷² that ministered to my wants. [26] For he longed⁷³ after you all, and was full⁷⁴ of heaviness, because that ye had⁷⁵ heard that he had been sick. [27] For indeed he was sick nigh⁷⁶ unto death: but God⁷⁷ had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on⁷⁸ me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. [28] I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see⁷⁹ him again, ye may rejoice, and that⁸⁰ I may be the less sorrowful. [29] Receive⁸¹ him therefore in the Lord with⁸² all gladness; and⁸³ hold such in reputation⁸⁴: [30] Because for the work⁸⁵ of Christ he was nigh⁸⁶ unto⁸⁷ death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
