(KJV) 2 Corinthians 6¹

⥃Paul’s Hardships and God’s Grace

[1] We then, [as] workers² together [with him], beseech³ [you] also that ye⁴ receive not the⁵ grace of God in vain. [2] (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time⁶ accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.) [3] Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:⁷ [4] But in all⁸ [things] approving⁹ ourselves as¹⁰ the ministers of God, in much¹¹ patience, in afflictions¹², in necessities¹³, in distresses¹⁴, [5] In stripes¹⁵, in imprisonments¹⁶, in tumults¹⁷, in labours¹⁸, in watchings¹⁹, in fastings²⁰; [6] By pureness²¹, by knowledge²², by longsuffering, by kindness, by the²³ Holy Ghost, by love²⁴ unfeigned, [7] By the word²⁵ of truth, by the power²⁶ of God, by the armour²⁷ of righteousness on the right²⁸ hand and on the left, [8] By honour²⁹ and dishonour, by evil³⁰ report and good report: as³¹ deceivers, and [yet] true³²; [9] As unknown³³, and [yet] well³⁴ known; as dying, and, behold³⁵, we live; as chastened³⁶, and not killed; [10] As sorrowful³⁷, yet alway rejoicing; as poor³⁸, yet making³⁹ many rich; as having nothing, and⁴⁰ [yet] possessing all things. [11] O [ye⁴¹] Corinthians, our mouth⁴² is open unto you, our heart⁴³ is enlarged. [12] Ye are not⁴⁴ straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your⁴⁵ own bowels. [13] Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak⁴⁶ as unto [my] children,) be⁴⁷ ye also enlarged.

⥃Do Not Be Unequally Yoked

[14] Be ye not unequally⁴⁸ yoked together with unbelievers: for⁴⁹ what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what⁵⁰ communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concor⁵¹d⁵² hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an⁵³ infidel? [16] And what⁵⁴ agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are⁵⁵ the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell⁵⁶ in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be⁵⁷ their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore come⁵⁸ out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I⁵⁹ will receive you, [18] And will be a Father⁶⁰ unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord⁶¹ Almighty.
