⥃I Will Set No Worthless Thing before My Eyes

A Psalm of David.

[1] I will sing2 of mercy and judgment: unto thee3, O Lord, will I sing. [2] I will behave4 myself wisely in a perfect way. O when5 wilt thou come unto me? I will walk6 within my house with a perfect7 heart. [3] I will set8 no wicked thing9 before mine eyes: I hate10 the work of them11 that turn aside; [it] shall not12 cleave to me. [4] A froward13 heart shall depart from me: I will not know14 a wicked [person]. [5] Whoso15 privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high16 look and a proud heart will not I suffer. [6] Mine17 eyes [shall be] upon the faithful of the land, that they18 may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way19, he shall serve me. [7] He that worketh20 deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight21. [8] I will early22 destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off23 all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
