⥃Broken Bondage

A Song [and] Psalm for2 the sons of Korah.

[1] Great3 [is] the Lord, and greatly4 to be praised in the city5 of our God, [in] the mountain6 of his holiness. [2] Beautiful7 for situation, the joy8 of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides9 of the north, the city10 of the great King. [3] God is known in her palaces for a refuge.11 [4] For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.12 [5] They saw [it], [and] so they marvelled; they were13 troubled, [and] hasted away. [6] Fear14 took hold upon them there, [and] pain15, as of a woman in travail. [7] Thou breakest16 the ships17 of Tarshish with an east18 wind. [8] As we19 have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord20 of hosts, in the city of our God21: God will establish it for ever. Selah. [9] We have thought22 of thy lovingkindness23, O God, in the24 midst of thy temple. [10] According25 to thy name, O God, so [is] thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right26 hand is full of righteousness. [11] Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters27 of Judah be glad, because28 of thy judgments. [12] Walk29 about Zion, and go round about her: tell30 the towers thereof. [13] Mark ye well31 her bulwarks, consider32 her palaces; that ye33 may tell [it] to the generation following. [14] For this God34 [is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide35 [even] unto death.
