⥃The LORD Surrounds His People

A Song of degrees.

[1] They that trust2 in the Lord [shall be] as mount3 Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth4 for ever. [2] [As] the mountains5 [are] round about Jerusalem, so the Lord6 [is] round about his people from henceforth even for ever. [3] For the rod7 of the wicked8 shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. [4] Do good9, O Lord, unto [those that be] good, and to [them that are] upright10 in their hearts. [5] As for such11 as turn aside unto their crooked12 ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers13 of iniquity: [but] peace14 [shall be] upon Israel.
