⥃Clap Your Hands, All You Peoples

To the chief Musician, A Psalm for2 the sons of Korah.

[1] O clap3 your hands, all ye people; shout4 unto God with the voice of triumph. [2] For the Lord most high [is] terrible5; [he is] a great6 King over all the earth. [3] He shall subdue7 the people under us, and the nations under our feet8. [4] He shall choose9 our inheritance for us, the excellency10 of Jacob whom11 he loved. Selah. [5] God12 is gone up with a shout13, the Lord with the sound14 of a trumpet. [6] Sing praises to God15, sing praises: sing praises unto our King16, sing praises. [7] For God [is] the King17 of all the earth: sing18 ye praises with understanding19. [8] God reigneth20 over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne21 of his holiness. [9] The princes22 of the people are gathered together, [even] the people of the God23 of Abraham: for the shields24 of the earth [belong] unto God: he is25 greatly exalted.
