⥃How Great Are Your Works!

A Psalm [or] Song for2 the sabbath day.

[1] [It is a] good3 [thing] to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most4 High: [2] To shew5 forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night6, [3] Upon an instrument7 of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp8 with a solemn sound9. [4] For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.10 [5] O Lord11, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts12 are very deep13. [6] A brutish14 man knoweth not; neither doth a fool15 understand this. [7] When the wicked16 spring as the grass, and when all the workers17 of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that18 they shall be destroyed for ever: [8] But thou, Lord, [art most19] high for evermore. [9] For20, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered21. [10] But22 my horn shalt thou exalt like [the horn of] an unicorn23: I shall24 be anointed with fresh oil. [11] Mine eye also shall see [my desire] on mine enemies, [and] mine ears shall hear [my desire] of the wicked that rise up against me.25 [12] The righteous26 shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar27 in Lebanon. [13] Those28 that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish29 in the30 courts of our God. [14] They31 shall still bring forth fruit in old age32; they shall be fat and flourishing33; [15] To shew34 that the Lord [is] upright: [he is] my rock35, and36 [there is] no unrighteousness in him.
