A Song [or] Psalm of David.

[1] O God, my heart3 is fixed; I will4 sing and give praise, even with my glory5. [2] Awake6, psaltery and harp: I [myself7] will awake early. [3] I will praise8 thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. [4] For thy mercy9 [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] unto the clouds10. [5] Be thou11 exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory12 above all the earth; [6] That thy13 beloved may be delivered: save14 [with] thy right hand, and answer me15. [7] God hath spoken16 in his holiness; I will rejoice17, I will divide Shechem18, and mete out the valley19 of Succoth. [8] Gilead20 [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim21 also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah22 [is] my lawgiver; [9] Moab23 [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast24 out my shoe; over Philistia25 will I triumph. [10] Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead26 me into Edom? [11] [Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast27 cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth28 with our hosts? [12] Give29 us help from trouble: for vain30 [is] the help of man. [13] Through31 God we shall do valiantly: for he [it is that] shall tread32 down our enemies.
