⥃The Day of Trouble

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

[1] The Lord hear2 thee in the day of trouble; the name3 of the God4 of Jacob defend5 thee;6 [2] Send thee help7 from8 the sanctuary, and strengthen9 thee out10 of Zion; [3] Remember11 all thy offerings, and accept12 thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. [4] Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.13 [5] We will rejoice14 in thy salvation, and in15 the name of our God we will set up [our] banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions. [6] Now16 know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will17 hear him from his holy heaven18 with19 the saving strength of his right hand. [7] Some [trust20] in chariots, and some in horses: but we21 will remember the name of the Lord our God. [8] They22 are brought down and fallen: but we23 are risen, and stand upright. [9] Save24, Lord: let25 the king hear us when we call.
