II. ‎רָדָה‎ verb scrape out (Late Hebrew id., scrape or draw off, out (bread from oven)); —

Qal Perfect 3 masculine singular ‎הַדְּבָ֑שׁ‎ ‎׳‎‎ר‎ Judg 14:9b out of the carcass he scraped the honey (see GFM); suffix ‎וַיִרְדֵּהוּ אֶלכַֿפָּיו‎ vJudg 14:9 a he scraped it out into his palms; Buhl^Lex Du also ‎עַליְֿדֵיהֶם‎ ‎׳‎‎ר‎ Jer 5:31, namely, gifts, money, figurative for making gain (most I. ‎רדה‎ q. v.).
