⥃Ascribe Glory to the LORD
A Psalm of David.
[1] Give2 unto the Lord, O ye mighty3, give unto the Lord glory and strength. [2] Give4 unto the Lord the glory5 due unto his name; worship6 the Lord in the beauty of holiness7. [3] The voice8 of the Lord [is] upon the waters: the God9 of glory thundereth10: the Lord [is] upon many waters11. [4] The voice of the Lord [is] powerful12; the voice of the Lord [is] full of13 majesty. [5] The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.14 [6] He maketh them also to skip15 like a calf; Lebanon16 and Sirion17 like a young unicorn18. [7] The voice of the Lord divideth19 the flames20 of fire. [8] The voice of the Lord shaketh21 the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh22. [9] The voice of the Lord maketh23 the hinds to calve24, and discovereth25 the forests: and in his temple26 doth27 every one speak of [his] glory. [10] The Lord sitteth28 upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King29 for ever. [11] The Lord will give30 strength unto his people; the Lord will bless31 his people with peace.
