⥃The Earth Is the LORD’s

A Psalm of David.

[1] The earth2 [is] the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world3, and they that dwell therein.4 [2] For5 he hath founded it upon the seas, and6 established it upon the floods. [3] Who7 shall ascend into the hill8 of the Lord? or who shall stand9 in his holy place? [4] He that10 hath clean hands, and a pure11 heart; who hath not lifted12 up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn13 deceitfully. [5] He shall receive14 the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness15 from the God16 of his salvation. [6] This [is17] the generation of them that seek18 him, that seek thy face, O Jacob19. Selah. [7] Lift20 up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King21 of glory shall22 come in. [8] Who [is] this King of glory? The Lord strong23 and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift [them] up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The Lord24 of hosts, he [is25] the King of glory. Selah.
