God’s Faithful Messiah 2[ Genesis 14:17–24 Hebrews 5:1–10 ]

A Psalm of David.

[1] The Lord3 said unto my Lord, Sit4 thou at my right hand, until5 I make thine enemies thy footstool. [2] The Lord shall send the rod6 of thy strength out7 of Zion: rule8 thou in the midst of thine enemies. [3] Thy9 people [shall be] willing in the day10 of thy power, in the beauties11 of holiness from the womb12 of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. [4] The Lord13 hath sworn, and will not14 repent, Thou15 [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. [5] The Lord at thy16 right hand shall strike17 through kings in the day18 of his wrath. [6] He shall judge19 among the heathen, he shall fill20 [the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound21 the heads over many22 countries. [7] He shall23 drink of the brook in the way: therefore24 shall he lift25 up the head.
