⥃The Descendants of David ^{[ 2 Samuel 3:1–5 ]}

[1] Now these were the sons of David², which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon³, of Ahinoam⁴ the Jezreelitess⁵; the second Daniel⁶, of Abigail⁷ the Carmelitess:⁸ [2] The third, Absalom⁹ the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur¹⁰: the fourth, Adonijah¹¹ the son of Haggith: [3] The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah¹² his wife. [4] [These] six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned¹³ seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem¹⁴ he reigned thirty and three years. [5] And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea¹⁵, and Shobab, and Nathan¹⁶, and Solomon¹⁷, four, of Bath–shua¹⁸ the daughter of Ammiel¹⁹: [6] Ibhar also, and Elishama²⁰, and Eliphelet²¹, [7] And Nogah²², and Nepheg, and Japhia, [8] And Elishama, and Eliada²³, and Eliphelet²⁴, nine. [9] [These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines²⁵, and Tamar²⁶ their sister.

⥃The Descendants of Solomon

[10] And Solomon’s son [was] Rehoboam²⁷, Abia²⁸ his son, Asa²⁹ his son, Jehoshaphat³⁰ his son, [11] Joram³¹ his son, Ahaziah³² his son, Joash³³ his son, [12] Amaziah³⁴ his son, Azariah³⁵ his son, Jotham³⁶ his son, [13] Ahaz³⁷ his son, Hezekiah³⁸ his son, Manasseh³⁹ his son, [14] Amon⁴⁰ his son, Josiah⁴¹ his son. [15] And the sons of Josiah [were], the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. [16] And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah⁴² his son, Zedekiah⁴³ his son.

⥃The Royal Line After the Exile

[17] [¶]And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir⁴⁴, Salathiel⁴⁵ his son, [18] Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah. [19] And the sons of Pedaiah⁴⁶ [were], Zerubbabel⁴⁷, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister: [20] And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab–hesed, five. [21] And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.⁴⁸ [22] And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush⁴⁹, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six⁵⁰. [23] And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah⁵¹, and Azrikam, three. [24] And the sons of Elioenai [were], Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.
