Qal make the sound of thunder, thunder: Imperfect 3 masculine singular יִרְעַם let the sea thunder (in praise, || שׂמה, גיל, עלז, הריע, מחא כף, רנן) Ps 96:11 = 1Chr 16:32; Ps 98:7. — Perfect 3 plural רָעֲמוּ פָּנִים Ezek 27:35 is dubious: faces tremble (Toy are convulsed), or they tremble (compare Hi-Sm Krae; AV RV are troubled) in face, lacks etymological support (otherwise Gerber47, but see √ above); ᵐ5 ᵑ6 Co דָּֽמְעוּ פְּנֵיהֶם. Hiph`il (Gerbe47) thunder, cause thunder; — Perfect 3 masculine singular הִרְעִים Ps 29:3 Imperfect 3 masculine singular יַרְעֵם (on ֵ֯ see Köi. 210) Ps 18:14* +; וַיַּרְעֵם 1Sam 7:10 2 masculine singular תַּרְעֵם Job 40:9; 1Sam 1:6 see below; — thunder, of ׳י (God) 1Sam 2:10; 1Sam 7:10 (both with עַל person againstwhom), Ps 18:14* = 2Sam 22:14; Ps 29:3; Job 37:4; Job 37:5, compare Job 40:9. — הַרְּעִמָהּ 1Sam 1:6 is appear.
