I. ‎רֹאֶה‎ noun [masculine] seer, with article ‎׳‎‎הָר‎ (except 2Sam 15:27); — old name for ‎נָבִיא‎ 1Sam 9:9b, used of Samuel v1Sam 9:9 a.; v1Sam 9:11 v1Sam 9:18 v1Sam 9:19 and (as archaism) 1Chr 9:22; 1Chr 26:28; 1Chr 29:29 of ‎חֲנָנִי‎ 2Chr 16:7; 2Chr 16:10 ‎הֲרוֺאֶה‎ apparently of Zadok 2Sam 15:27, but corrupt (conjecture in We Dr); plural (with preposition) ‎לָרֹאִים‎ Isa 30:10 the seers, as a class.
