(KJV) Song of Solomon 7¹

⥃Admiration by the Bridegroom

[1] How beautiful are thy feet² with shoes, O prince’s³ daughter! the joints⁴ of thy thighs [are] like jewels, the work⁵ of the hands of a cunning workman. [2] Thy navel⁶ [is like] a round goblet, [which] wanteth not liquor⁷: thy belly⁸ [is like] an heap of wheat set about with lilies. [3] Thy two breasts [are] like two young roes [that are] twins.⁹ [4] Thy neck¹⁰ [is] as a tower of ivory¹¹; thine eyes¹² [like] the fishpools in Heshbon¹³, by the gate of Bath–rabbim: thy nose¹⁴ [is] as the tower¹⁵ of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus¹⁶. [5] Thine head¹⁷ upon thee [is] like Carmel¹⁸, and the hair¹⁹ of thine head like purple; the king²⁰ [is] held²¹ in the galleries. [6] How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!²² [7] This thy stature²³ is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts²⁴ to clusters [of grapes]. [8] I said, I will go²⁵ up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell²⁶ of thy nose like apples; [9] And the roof²⁷ of thy mouth like the best²⁸ wine for my beloved, that goeth [down] sweetly²⁹, causing the lips of those that are asleep³⁰ to speak.

⥃The Bride

[10] I [am] my³¹ beloved’s, and his³² desire [is] toward me. [11] Come, my beloved, let us go³³ forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. [12] Let us get³⁴ up early to the vineyards; let us see³⁵ if the vine flourish, [whether] the tender³⁶ grape appear³⁷, [and] the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee³⁸ my loves. [13] The mandrakes³⁹ give a smell, and at our⁴⁰ gates [are] all manner of pleasant [fruits], new⁴¹ and old, [which] I have⁴² laid up for thee, O my beloved.
