Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

δίδοτε, καὶ δοθήσεται ὑμῖν. μέτρον καλὸν πεπιεσμένον καὶ σεσαλευμένον καὶ ὑπερεκχυννόμενον δώσουσιν εἰς τὸν κόλπον ὑμῶν· ᾧ Τῷ γὰρ αὐτῷ μέτρῳ μετρεῖτε, ἀντιμετρηθήσεται ὑμῖν.
