And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after [him] in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

And Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go into the fields and glean heads of grain after someone in whose sight I may find favor.” “Go ahead, my daughter,” Naomi replied.

וַ תֹּאמֶר֩ ר֨וּת הַ מּוֹאֲבִיָּ֜ה אֶֽל ־ נָעֳמִ֗י אֵֽלְכָה ־ נָּ֤א הַ שָּׂדֶה֙ וַ אֲלַקֳטָּ֣ה בַ שִׁבֳּלִ֔ים אַחַ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶמְצָא ־ חֵ֖ן בְּ עֵינָ֑י ו וַ תֹּ֥אמֶר לָ֖הּ לְכִ֥י בִתִּֽ י ׃
