Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance [was] like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he [was], neither told he me his name:

So the woman went and told her husband, “A man of God came to me. His appearance was like the angel of God, exceedingly awesome. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.

וַ תָּבֹ֣א הָ אִשָּׁ֗ה וַ תֹּ֣אמֶר לְ אִישָׁ הּ֮ לֵ אמֹר֒ אִ֤ישׁ הָ אֱלֹהִים֙ בָּ֣א אֵלַ֔י וּ מַרְאֵ֕הוּ כְּ מַרְאֵ֛ה מַלְאַ֥ךְ הָ אֱלֹהִ֖ים נוֹרָ֣א מְאֹ֑ד וְ לֹ֤א שְׁאִלְתִּ֙י הוּ֙ אֵֽי ־ מִ זֶּ֣ה ה֔וּא וְ אֶת ־ שְׁמ֖וֹ לֹֽא ־ הִגִּ֥יד לִֽ י ׃
