And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I [being] few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.
_BSB:
Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble upon me by making me a stench to the Canaanites and Perizzites, the people of this land. We are few in number; if they unite against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.”

וַ יֹּ֨אמֶר יַעֲקֹ֜ב אֶל ־ שִׁמְע֣וֹן וְ אֶל ־ לֵוִי֮ עֲכַרְתֶּ֣ם אֹתִ י֒ לְ הַבְאִישֵׁ֙נִי֙ בְּ יֹשֵׁ֣ב הָ אָ֔רֶץ בַּֽ כְּנַעֲנִ֖י וּ בַ פְּרִזִּ֑י וַ אֲנִי֙ מְתֵ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר וְ נֶאֶסְפ֤וּ עָלַ י֙ וְ הִכּ֔וּ נִי וְ נִשְׁמַדְתִּ֖י אֲנִ֥י וּ בֵיתִֽ י ׃
