And Jacob asked [him], and said, Tell [me], I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore [is] it [that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
_BSB:
And Jacob requested, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed Jacob there.

וַ יִּשְׁאַ֣ל יַעֲקֹ֗ב וַ יֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הַגִּֽידָ ה ־ נָּ֣א שְׁמֶ֔ךָ וַ יֹּ֕אמֶר לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה תִּשְׁאַ֣ל לִ שְׁמִ֑י וַ יְבָ֥רֶךְ אֹת֖וֹ שָֽׁם ׃
