But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
_BSB:
Jonah, however, got up to flee to Tarshish, away from the presence of the LORD. He went down to Joppa and found a ship bound for Tarshish. So he paid the fare and went aboard to sail for Tarshish, away from the presence of the LORD.

וַ יָּ֤קָם יוֹנָה֙ לִ בְרֹ֣חַ תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁ ה מִ לִּ פְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וַ יֵּ֨רֶד יָפ֜וֹ וַ יִּמְצָ֥א אָנִיָּ֣ה ׀ בָּאָ֣ה תַרְשִׁ֗ישׁ וַ יִּתֵּ֨ן שְׂכָרָ֜הּ וַ יֵּ֤רֶד בָּ הּ֙ לָ ב֤וֹא עִמָּ הֶם֙ תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁ ה מִ לִּ פְנֵ֖י יְהוָֽה ׃
