Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done [it]?
_BSB:
If a ram’s horn sounds in a city, do the people not tremble? If calamity comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
_Hebrew:
אִם ־ יִתָּקַ֤ע שׁוֹפָר֙ בְּ עִ֔יר וְ עָ֖ם לֹ֣א יֶחֱרָ֑דוּ אִם ־ תִּהְיֶ֤ה רָעָה֙ בְּ עִ֔יר וַ יהוָ֖ה לֹ֥א עָשָֽׂה ׃
