When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
_BSB:
When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.

וַ יַּ֨רְא אֶפְרַ֜יִם אֶת ־ חָלְי֗וֹ וִֽ יהוּדָה֙ אֶת ־ מְזֹר֔וֹ וַ יֵּ֤לֶךְ אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ אֶל ־ אַשּׁ֔וּר וַ יִּשְׁלַ֖ח אֶל ־ מֶ֣לֶךְ יָרֵ֑ב וְ ה֗וּא לֹ֤א יוּכַל֙ לִ רְפֹּ֣א לָ כֶ֔ם וְ לֹֽא ־ יִגְהֶ֥ה מִ כֶּ֖ם מָזֽוֹר ׃
