To the chief Musician upon Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.

לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ עַל ־ שׁוּשַׁ֣ן עֵד֑וּת מִכְתָּ֖ם לְ דָוִ֣ד לְ לַמֵּֽד ׃ בְּ הַצּוֹת֨וֹ ׀ אֶ֥ת אֲרַ֣ם נַהֲרַיִם֮ וְ אֶת ־ אֲרַ֪ם צ֫וֹבָ֥ה וַ יָּ֤שָׁב יוֹאָ֗ב וַ יַּ֣ךְ אֶת ־ אֱד֣וֹם בְּ גֵיא ־ מֶ֑לַח שְׁנֵ֖ים עָשָׂ֣ר אָֽלֶף ׃
