_KJV:
And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day.
_BSB:
Solomon replied, “You have shown much loving devotion to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and uprightness of heart. And You have maintained this loving devotion by giving him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

וַ יֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה אַתָּ֨ה עָשִׂ֜יתָ עִם ־ עַבְדְּ ךָ֙ דָוִ֣ד אָבִ י֮ חֶ֣סֶד גָּדוֹל֒ כַּ אֲשֶׁר֩ הָלַ֨ךְ לְ פָנֶ֜י ךָ בֶּ אֱמֶ֧ת וּ בִ צְדָקָ֛ה וּ בְ יִשְׁרַ֥ת לֵבָ֖ב עִמָּ֑ךְ וַ תִּשְׁמָר ־ ל֗וֹ אֶת ־ הַ חֶ֤סֶד הַ גָּדוֹל֙ הַ זֶּ֔ה וַ תִּתֶּן ־ ל֥וֹ בֵ֛ן יֹשֵׁ֥ב עַל ־ כִּסְא֖וֹ כַּ יּ֥וֹם הַ זֶּֽה ׃
