And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

When Ruth got up to glean, Boaz ordered his young men, “Even if she gathers among the sheaves, do not insult her.

וַ תָּ֖קָם לְ לַקֵּ֑ט וַ יְצַו֩ בֹּ֨עַז אֶת ־ נְעָרָ֜י ו לֵ אמֹ֗ר גַּ֣ם בֵּ֧ין הָֽ עֳמָרִ֛ים תְּלַקֵּ֖ט וְ לֹ֥א תַכְלִימֽוּ הָ ׃
