And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:

If a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is executed, and you hang his body on a tree,

וְ כִֽי ־ יִהְיֶ֣ה בְ אִ֗ישׁ חֵ֛טְא מִשְׁפַּט ־ מָ֖וֶת וְ הוּמָ֑ת וְ תָלִ֥יתָ אֹת֖וֹ עַל ־ עֵֽץ ׃
