LXX:
And the king said to him, Go, and do to him as he has said, and do away with him! And you shall bury him, and lift away today the blood which Joab poured out freely from me, and from the house of my father.

και είπεν αυτώ ο βασιλεύς πορεύου και ποίησον αυτώ καθώς είρηκε και άνελε αυτόν και θάψεις αυτόν και εξαρείς σήμερον το αίμα ο εξέχεεν Ιωάβ δωρεάν απ΄ εμού και από του οίκου του πατρός μου
