LXX:
And Saul sought to strike David with a wooden spear. And David departed from [the] face of Saul, and he struck [with] the spear into the wall. And David withdrew and was delivered in that night.

και εζήτει Σαούλ πατάξαι εν δόρατι τον Δαυίδ και απέστη Δαυίδ εκ προσώπου Σαούλ και επάταξε το δόρυ εις τον τοίχον και Δαυίδ ανεχώρησε και διεσώθη εν νυκτί εκείνη
