LXX:
And the servants of Saul told [to] David these things. And the word was straightened in [the] eyes of David to be allied by marriage to the king. And the days were not fulfilled.

και απήγγειλαν οι παίδες Σαούλ τω Δαυίδ τα ρήματα ταύτα και ηυθύνθη ο λόγος εν οφθαλμοίς Δαυίδ επιγαμβρεύσαι τω βασιλεί και ουκ επληρώθησαν αι ημέραι
