proper name, of a location 1. abode of Amorites, בְּהַרחֶֿרֶס בְּאַיָּלוֺן וּבְשַׁעַלְבִֿים Judg 1:35, since חֶרֶס sun = שֶׁמֶשׁ, perhaps = בֵּית שֶׁמֶשׁ
1. (q. v.), so Stu (who proposes עִיר חֶרֶס = עָר), Ke Be BuRS 17 Öttli Bla; ᵐ5 ἐν τῷ [ὄρει τοῦ] Μυρσινῶνι (-ος) = הַר הֲדַס.
