Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Because of this I will lament and wail; I will walk barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal and mourn like an ostrich.

עַל ־ זֹאת֙ אֶסְפְּדָ֣ה וְ אֵילִ֔ילָה אֵילְכָ֥ה שׁוֹלָ֖ל וְ עָר֑וֹם אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה מִסְפֵּד֙ כַּ תַּנִּ֔ים וְ אֵ֖בֶל כִּ בְנ֥וֹת יַעֲנָֽה ׃
