In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

לַ שָּׁוְא֙ הִכֵּ֣יתִי אֶת ־ בְּנֵי כֶ֔ם מוּסָ֖ר לֹ֣א לָקָ֑חוּ אָכְלָ֧ה חַרְבְּ כֶ֛ם נְבִֽיאֵי כֶ֖ם כְּ אַרְיֵ֥ה מַשְׁחִֽית ׃
