But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

וְ הוּא֙ מְחֹלָ֣ל מִ פְּשָׁעֵ֔נוּ מְדֻכָּ֖א מֵ עֲוֹנֹתֵ֑י נוּ מוּסַ֤ר שְׁלוֹמֵ֙נוּ֙ עָלָ֔י ו וּ בַ חֲבֻרָת֖וֹ נִרְפָּא ־ לָֽ נוּ ׃
