Woe unto them that join house to house, [that] lay field to field, till [there be] no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field until no place is left and you live alone in the land.

ה֗וֹי מַגִּיעֵ֥י בַ֙יִת֙ בְּ בַ֔יִת שָׂדֶ֥ה בְ שָׂדֶ֖ה יַקְרִ֑יבוּ עַ֚ד אֶ֣פֶס מָק֔וֹם וְ הֽוּשַׁבְתֶּ֥ם לְ בַדְּ כֶ֖ם בְּ קֶ֥רֶב הָ אָֽרֶץ ׃
