But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.

But Uriah slept at the door of the palace with all his master’s servants; he did not go down to his house.

וַ יִּשְׁכַּ֣ב אוּרִיָּ֗ה פֶּ֚תַח בֵּ֣ית הַ מֶּ֔לֶךְ אֵ֖ת כָּל ־ עַבְדֵ֣י אֲדֹנָ֑י ו וְ לֹ֥א יָרַ֖ד אֶל ־ בֵּיתֽ וֹ ׃
