And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.

At midnight, Boaz was startled, turned over, and there lying at his feet was a woman!

וַ יְהִי֙ בַּ חֲצִ֣י הַ לַּ֔יְלָה וַ יֶּחֱרַ֥ד הָ אִ֖ישׁ וַ יִּלָּפֵ֑ת וְ הִנֵּ֣ה אִשָּׁ֔ה שֹׁכֶ֖בֶת מַרְגְּלֹתָֽי ו ׃
