Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be [as thorns] in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.
_BSB:
So now I tell you that I will not drive out these people before you; they will be thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.”
_Hebrew:
וְ גַ֣ם אָמַ֔רְתִּי לֹֽא ־ אֲגָרֵ֥שׁ אוֹתָ֖ם מִ פְּנֵי כֶ֑ם וְ הָי֤וּ לָ כֶם֙ לְ צִדִּ֔ים וֵ אלֹ֣הֵי הֶ֔ם יִהְי֥וּ לָ כֶ֖ם לְ מוֹקֵֽשׁ ׃
