And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.

So he returned and told his father and mother, “I have seen a daughter of the Philistines in Timnah. Now get her for me as a wife.”

וַ יַּ֗עַל וַ יַּגֵּד֙ לְ אָבִ֣י ו וּ לְ אִמּ֔וֹ וַ יֹּ֗אמֶר אִשָּׁ֛ה רָאִ֥יתִי בְ תִמְנָ֖תָ ה מִ בְּנ֣וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וְ עַתָּ֕ה קְחוּ ־ אוֹתָ֥הּ לִּ֖י לְ אִשָּֽׁה ׃
