And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with [his] fist, and he die not, but keepeth [his] bed:

If men are quarreling and one strikes the other with a stone or a fist, and he does not die but is confined to bed,

וְ כִֽי ־ יְרִיבֻ֣ן אֲנָשִׁ֔ים וְ הִכָּה ־ אִישׁ֙ אֶת ־ רֵעֵ֔הוּ בְּ אֶ֖בֶן א֣וֹ בְ אֶגְרֹ֑ף וְ לֹ֥א יָמ֖וּת וְ נָפַ֥ל לְ מִשְׁכָּֽב ׃
