And in the first-fruits of your gifts, and in your offerings, in the passing through your children in fire, you defiled [yourselves] in all your thoughts until today's day. And shall I answer you, O house of Israel, [no]. [As] I live, says Adonai [the] lord, Shall I answer you, and shall this [thing] ascend upon your spirit, no.

και εν ταις απαρχαίς των δομάτων υμών και εν τοις αφορισμοίς υμών εν τω διάγειν τα τέκνα υμών εν πυρί υμείς μιαίνεσθε εν πάσι τοις ενθυμήμασιν υμών έως της σήμερον ημέρας και εγώ αποκριθώ υμίν οίκος του Ισραήλ ζω εγώ λέγει Αδωναϊ κύριος ει αποκριθήσομαι υμίν και ει αναβήσεται επί το πνεύμα υμών τούτο
