LXX Jeremiah 40:5

Gedaliah Appointed Over Judah

LXX:
And return to Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan! whom [the] king of Babylon established in [the] land of Judah. And live with him in [the] midst of the people! for all the things good in your eyes to go [to] -- [then] go! And the chief guard gave to him a feast and gifts, and sent him.

και ανάστρεψον προς τον Γοδολίαν υιόν Αχικάμ υιόυ Σαφάν ον κατέστησε βασιλεύς Βαβυλώνος εν γη Ιούδα και οίκησον μετ΄ αυτού εν μέσω του λαού εις πάντα τα αγαθά εν οφθαλμοίς σου του πορευθήναι πορεύου και έδωκεν αυτώ ο αρχιμάγειρος εστιατορίαν και δώρα και απέστειλεν αυτόν
