LXX Jeremiah 3:1

The Harlotry of Israel

LXX:
If a husband should send away his wife, and she should go forth from him, and becomes to another man, shall by returning she return to him yet [again]? Shall not by defiling that woman be defiled? But you fornicated with many shepherds, and you have returned to me, says [the] lord.
Greek:
εάν εξαποστείλη ανήρ την γυναίκα αυτού και απέλθη απ΄ αυτού και γένηται ανδρί ετέρω μη ανακάμπτουσα ανακάμψει προς αυτόν έτι ου μιαινομένη μιανθήσεται η γυνή εκείνη και συ εξεπόρνευσας εν ποιμέσι πολλοίς και ανέκαμπτες προς με λέγει κύριος

by defiling μιαινομένη
be defiled μιανθήσεται

you συ
fornicated εξεπόρνευσας

shepherds ποιμέσι
